Boston Celtics Tickets – Hardwood History
The Boston Celtics franchise began in the 1940’s.  Celtic pride would soon come to life as the Boston Celtics legacy was born, and Boston Celtics tickets became hot commodities.  Claiming 16 NBA Championships from 1956 to 1986, the Boston Celtics proved to be a force to reckon with.  From 1959 to 1966, the Celtics won eight titles in a row, making them the dominant figure in the world of professional basketball.  No other organization in NBA history has even approached the earth-shattering 16 titles claimed by the Celtics.
From Larry Bird to Paul Pierce, the Celtics have scored some serious points on the hardwood floor.  This season, the Celtics hope to continue their dynasty.  With Kendrick Perkins at center with a career high at 19 rebounds, the Celtics have a definite advantage.  Power forward Kevin Garnett who is an 8-time all-defensive achievement winner will also be helping Perkins on the courts.  Don’t forget about 6-time NBA All-Star Paul Pierce who is the NBA regular-season leader in total points and free throws.  What about Ray Allen, a shooting guard who is a 7-time NBA All-Star?  He is guaranteed to make a showing this season, and is another reason for the popularity of Boston Celtics ticketsWith Rajon Ronda as the Celtics point guard, the team has some very good prospects.
Some of the big games of the season will involve the Boston Celtics going up against the Toronto Raptors (buy Toronto Raptors tickets) and the New Jersey Nets (buy New Jersey Nets tickets).  These are sure to be unforgettable games.
Tickets for the Boston Celtics home games go on sale Friday, September 21 at midnight.  Preseason tickets go on sale earlier that week, along with group Boston Celtics tickets and suite information.  This season hopes to rank among the legendary Boston Celtics seasons from the Larry Bird era.
