     The Cleveland Browns were founded in 1945 and rumors persist that they were named after Coach Paul Brown, himself, though the team says the name was intended to honor Joe Louis, the boxing champion.  They dominated the AAFC for the duration of the league's existence and were a sure thing when the NFL allowed some of the AAFC league teams to enter into the NFL.  The Cleveland Browns brought their fans with them.Cleveland Browns tickets sold incredibly well while the team was in the AAFC and the NFL.

For the sake of their fans, the team has developed a new sense of urgency in their playing that is reminiscent of the old Cleveland Browns.
