Denver Nuggets Tickets and Information
    In 1992, the Denver Nuggets drafted 7'2 Dikembe Mutombo.  He had a notably successful rookie year and finished as the runner-up to Rookie of the Year Larry Johnson.  The Nuggets record for that year was 24-58, but they improved to a 36-46 record after drafting LaPhonso Ellis and Bryant Stith.  These two rookies, along with Mutombo and Abdul-Rauf, led the Nuggets to a great winning season.  In the playoffs of that same year, Denver came from behind to win against the first-place Seattle Supersonics.  This would be the first time in NBA history that the eighth seed team defeated the first seed team in the playoffs.

    The Nuggets won the Northwest division title in the 2005 season for the first time in 18 years, setting the team up for the third seed of the Western Conference Playoffs.
