    Golden State Warriors Tickets: Playoff Bound
    Founded in Philadelphia in 1946, the Warriors and were an original charter member of the NBA, then called the Basketball Association of America.  In 1962, the team relocated to San Francisco.  In 1966, they officially changed their name to the Golden State Warriors.  The team was marked with early success, garnering a huge following of fans and signing some big name players. After their stint in San Francisco, the team distanced themselves from the city where they did not have their own arena, preferring to play in Oakland where there was a brand new stadium.
    Some of the famous players that have helped the team to victory are Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin.  Other players that have worn the Warriors' colors over the years are Jason Richardson, Wilt Chamberlain, Baron Davis and Monta Ellis.  Players of this caliber did much to add to the sale of Golden State Warriors tickets.
