Indianapolis Colts Tickets: Watching the Champions Defend their Title

As the reigning Super Bowl champions,Indianapolis Colts tickets are going incredibly quickly.  The Indianapolis Colts were originally another team with the name of the Dallas Texans.  Unlike the team that would become the Kansas City Chiefs and that shared the Texans name, these Dallas Texans only played for one season.  Resurrected from the ashes and established as the Baltimore Colts, the team was a vast improvement over their previous short-lived incarnation.
There have been a number of memorable players for the Colts over the years.  Johnny Unitas and Peyton Manning are among the most famous, but others include Joe Erhmann, Jim Harbaugh and Marshall Faulk.  The Colts had a memorable stint in Baltimore, but the team moved to Indianapolis and a new stadium.  Indianapolis Colts tickets were immediately big sellers.
2006 began with a middle of the road performance that nonetheless won the Colts a spot in the playoffs.  After defeating first the Chiefs (Kansas City Chiefs tickets), then the Ravens and the Patriots, the Colts pounded their way into the Super Bowl. After a lack luster beginning, the Colts went on to defeat the Chicago Bears (Chicago Bears tickets) and win the 2006 Super Bowl, with a score of 29-17.  Indianapolis Colts tickets sold at an all-time record.
2007 sees the Indianapolis Colts defending their Super Bowl title.  They are also trying to better their record from the previous year.  New additions to the team are Rod Perry as the Defensive back coach; quarterback John Navarre, tight end Mike Seidman, offensive guard Rick DeMulling, players Mike Labinjo, Norman LeJueune and Reggie Hodges.  This also marks the last year that the Colts will play in the RCA Dome.  Indianapolis Colts tickets will be for a new stadium next year.
